Austria

I traveled to Austria visiting: Kitzbuhel, SalzBurg, Vienna and Bratislava.  See tabs on keft under Austria for more details on each city and this is the overview focusing on skiing in Kitzbuhel. I traveled with the Baltimore Ski club to ski Kitzbuhel and visit the towns named in the first sentance. We had a great time with fantastic spring conditions.  We stayed at the Maria Theresia Hotel and I highly recommend the hotel for is wonderful rooms, food, top staff and close to the center of town and close to lifts.  Thanks you and photos below The hotel was awesome with great food and the town was incredible with horse rides available and some historic Churches and we listened to music at night

The Skiing was great and Kitzbuhel offers about 4,000 feet of vertical for skiing and has 46 lifts and links up 2 ski resorts all connected. There is over 110 miles of skiing slopes with beginner, intermediate and difficult slopes all available.  Photos below of our skiing starting by taking the gondola and chair up to the top. I hit 45 miles per hour and did 42,000 vertical feet of descent and 71 miles of skiing all in one day = yea!!
