We were blessed to have another group of about 18 people join us in Aspen for this year 2022 and we had some new additions to the group and we stayed at the incredible Hearthstone House and the staff is wonderful 

In the early morning some of us would go and pray at the Monastery down valley below

Then after breakfast we hiked to Electric Pass, the Ute Trail, Independence pass, Continental divide and Crater lake and some hikes in the “SNOW” photos below 

 

We rode bikes to: Maroon Bells below 

We rode bikes to Pine Creek below 

We also rode down valley on an old railroad bed to Basalt and had lunch on the Frying Pan River in Tipsy Trout below 

Along the way we passed homes from old railroad cars above and crossed rivers and water falls below 

 

The Railroad bed is amazing with no vehicles and little bike traffic and is about 45 miles long awesome and is in perfect condition 

W               Paddle Boarding below and we came across: deer, beaver, and tons of trout 

 

Some of us went Horseback riding below 

 

And some of us played Frisbee Golf at the top of Ajax Mountain below while other hiked to the top where we had a great lunch and listened to great music below 

 

And when we arrived at the top of Ajax Mountain we had a great lunch (Pine Creek lunch below) with great music below 

 

After a full day of athletics, in the evening we would attend world class:  symphony, theater and opera and the performances were incredible below 

We also went to some great museums like Smuggler mine and the Mining and Ranching museums below  

 

 

ok so a great time was had and thank you Hearthstone House for a wonderful time and we saw many wild animals like foxes and so on below
