Georgia

The adventure was provided by MIRU Adventures with Gary Wintz as our guide with Local guides Katar and Nikoloz and they did an incredible job . Ok From Yerevan Armenia we drove to Tbilisi Georgia and along the way we stopped at the  stunning lake Seven at 6,300 feet above sea level which is one of the highest and largest fresh water high-altitude lakes in Eurasia and visited a monastery there as well. We also stopped at the old Mansion for lunch which was on the river and it was incredible below 


Upon arrival at Tbilisi which is just beautiful, historical and wonderful, we stayed in the Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel and world class hotel with all the amenities you could imagine: Indoor pool, athletic faculty, fine dinning and the rooms were to die for and a photo of the entrance to our incredible hotel and indoor pool

 



                                 

We Had  great meals and listened to some great music and wondered the winding streets 

and I went to 2 plays below in an incredible performance center 


we wondered around the incredible town and crossed bridges over the lovely river below 

WE took the cable car to the Narikala Fortress for an incredible view of the city below

From here we visited Mtskheta which was the capital of Georgia from 500 Bc to 500 AD. This is a UNESCO heritage site and is filled with ancient monuments 

another shot along the way was just incredible 

WE also visited Stalins home town of birth and his museum below 

 

From here we traveled to Kazbegi and stayed in the wonderful hotel Hotel Kazbegi which also had athletic center and pool and fine dinning and the views were incredible 

and the interior was filled with religious art then the next day we went on a hike to 8,500 feet to a lake below 


From here we traveled to a vineyard for lunch in an amazing palace below on our way back to Tbilisi below

The sites going back to Tbilisi’s were great below 

From here we visited the Town of Tsinandali and stayed in the Radisson Collection Hotel which had an indoor and outdoor pool, incredible athletic facility and tennis courts with incredible gardens below

I was invited to a wedding below and the party rocked the boat 

 

and we visited many monasteries below 

 

 

WE also visited more vineyards below 

 

From we traveled to Tbilisi for our flight as we had to fly into Azerbaijan due to the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. So a great time was had in Georgia and checkout Azerbaijan
