And we visited the Cantegril Country Club in Punta del Este which is a private Country Club that is incredible.  My mother is 1952 did a 44 day cruise of South America and the cruise line stopped in Uruguay and she visited the country Club.  the Cantegril Country Club offers: 3 pools, 10 tennis courts, Golf, fine dinning and rooms to stay in and they had a theater which is still attached but they spun it off and photos below  

From here we took tango lessons in the afternoon sipping fine wine and fine delectables and then went to our hotel Estancia Vik
