Mobile Al 25

We went to Mobile Alabama to visit our incredible friends: Lana and Jesse and their daughter Stefania and Lana is our adopted daughter from Kyrgyzstan.  We had an incredible time visiting museums, historical churches, incredible light shows and the School UMS Wright where Stefania goes. The first Mueseum we went to was the Mardi Gras Museum and Mardi Gras started in Mobile Alabama in 1703 wow wow wow  and some photos from the museum below

From here we visited and prayed in the oldest Catholic Parish on the Gulf Coast established also in 1703 and the Catholic church is called the Cathedral – Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The Cathedral was destroyed in the civil war as 30 tons of dynomite exploded and destroyed most of the town and then it was rebuilt. It is awesome and some photos below  

From here we went to the Chinese Light Show at Bellingrath Gardens and Home below and wow wow wow and it would blow you away and photos below

The next day we played tennis at a great club and Lana’s Husband kicked my B–tt and photos below 

the Pope died while I was there and here is the history of the Archdiocese below but it goes back to 1703 

The School UMS Wright is unbelievable and it offers so much for its students and I wish I had photos but I highly recomend  this incredible School
