South Africa
Many biking photos are at the beginning of the post and story with photos follow : This was a Vermont Bike Tour or VBT event that including biking, hiking, museums, visiting many towns of historical significance and stayed in incredible hotels and resorts along the way as well as visiting farms, vineyards, forests and going on a safari or visiting animal centers. We rode bikes on the Garden Route which is along the southern coastline. We started in Cape Town and ended in Johannesburg and along the way stayed in the town of Franschhoek Vineland’s, Oudtshoorn for an ostrich tour, Kensna Lagoon and buffets bay. We started in Cape Town and the town was on the water and is one of South Africa’s oldest working harbors with a beautiful promenade with many shops like the inner harbor of Baltimore Maryland. We visited the aquarium, , floated to the top of Table mountain, biked to a penguin colony, and visited a a world heritage site Kirstenbosch as well as visiting a vineyard called Silvermist for some great music performances. We stayed a great small hotel called More Quarters. Photos below

From here we traveled and biked to see the penguins and Cape of Good Hope below
From here we travel and rode bikes to the Vineland’s cycling Franschhoek Winelands and tasting great wines along the way. We stayed in the incredible Le Franschoek Hotel and Spa and photos below

WE rode to Oudtshoorn for an ostrich tour and we stayed at the great LA Plume Guest House that was part of the ostrich Farm where we had a tour and phots below
La Plume Guest house was amazing the the food incredible
and the facilities were just incredible

From here we traveled to Kynsna Lagoon where we stayed inn the great Knysna Hollow Country Estate below and this is were we saw the Indian Ocean meet the Atlantic Ocean and photos below
