Easter Island

Arden and I, We both  stayed in the Explora hotel which provided  Fine food, wine and access to many great activities like biking, hiking, rafting and diving and access to very cool interesting statues. The hotel below on arriving and what views below from our room and they had great amineties like pools and dance preformances below.  Iam  certified  in  diving  since  1973  and  was  certified in St John’s U.S. Virgin Islands and I was going  to  go  diving here but  was  not  allowed  as  my  plane  was  leaving  within  24  hours…  My friend  went  so  a few great photos  at  the  end  of  my blog of the  great diving from my friend and I wish I could have gone

Ok on o to the diving which I was not allowed to do as my plane was leaving in less than 24 hours bummer but my friend took these photos below. There is also great diving and horseback riding available but unfortunately I ran out of time but one of our group did it and some photos below

Ok back to the things we did on the land during the days- we would hike and bike all around the Island and visit the many incredible statues photos below

The biking was great as the area was mostly farm land and or park and we would get stopped by the wild horses which outnumber humans on the island and free range cattle along the way, photo below

Blocked by the horses above and there are more horses than humans on the island. The hiking below was fantastic as we hike into caves and to the top of Volcanoes and photos below

Volcano arriving to the top wow below

Climbing into the caves below and when we reached the end it was on a cliff overlooking the ocean wow

We also hiked up to the “Bird-man Village” below and they lived here and it was built exclusively for religious purposes and were like caves and photos below

There was also a great beach  that  we  hiked  to below

Ok I recommend this
