AltaSnowbird25

I was blessed to travel to Alta and Snowbird to ski with a group from Baltimroe that have been doing this for 20+ years and it was great fun. Snowbird and Alta are amazing and one can ski both as both have lifts that service each other.  Snowbird has a large tram and four lifts that provide service to about 140 runs. Base elevation is 7,760 and the top is 11,000 feet providing about 3,240 vertical feet of skiing on about 2,500 acres @Snowbird. The longest run is 2.5 miles. Alta has 5 lifts and the top elevation is about 11,000 and base elevation is 8,500 and Alta provides 2,500 vertical feet of skiing. We all had a blast skiing and one day I did 39,900 vertical feet of decent over about 66 miles including the lift and hitting about 47 MPH. The skiing was fantastic

Lodge: We stayed at the incredible Alta’s “Rustler Lodge” which provided: fabulous rooms, outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and steam and saunas, awesome workout room with great equiptment,  Ski in and out access to the slopes, incredible lounge and dinning facility with full service bar.

Will start with photos of the lodge and its attributes and then photos of the skiing
