Harry F. Schenuit

Harry Frederick Schenuit was the brother of Alfons Schenuit and Harry married Louisa Dambmann. Their daughter Irma Schenuit Hall, was one of the most famous musicians in the United Sates and started a school of music in Milwaukee and played for the King and Queen of England.  (see tab on left about Irma) 

Harry Moved from Baltimore to Milwaukee in 1904 and he was an organist and voice teacher.  He founded the “Schenuit Conservatory of Music” and his wife “Louisa” was a pianist as well and Louisa taught Irma music at the early age on 3. 

At age of 7 Irma gave her first concert tour. as a professional. The School Harry Started by 1965 had over 200 students and had a staff of five. Music ran in our family . Below is a copy of an article about Harry as he was the director and director of the Baltimroe Musical Academy and the article is about the closing Exercises of their school; in 1897 below and he is noted in the second photos of the article at the bottom
