Baltimore Museum of Industry host a kiosk of: **Schenuit Tire & ***Koester Bakery

Kernan Hospital now University of Maryland named a wing after my Father Oliver Slater Travers Jr. called the Oliver Slater Travers rehabilitation wing 

War Memorial Mueseum of Baltimore: Has my grandfathers world war 1 medal (Oliver Travers Sr.)  on display and his division the RAINBOW division is on display listing the names that died in battle. Ollie Travers Sr (grandfather) did not die

Notre Dame Prep,  Have named the Tennis Courts after my mother Mary Jean Travers

Notre Dame Prep: has a scholarship named after my mother Mary Jean Travers

Boys Latin School of Maryland: Has a Scholarship named in my brothers name Thomas S. Travers 

Calvert School: Has squash courts named after my mom and dad, Mary Jean and Oliver Travers

He has articles written about him in: Busnessweek multiple times – 1988, 1986 , Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Pittsburg Press, Pittsburg Post-Gazette, all around 1986-1992   

 

Dad also gave back to society and here he is being honored at Kernan Hospital where he was The Chairman of the board and he donated the Rehab Center

Business served and board member of: Oliver Slater Travers Jr. was the director of many companies and on the board of many non-profits: President Schenuit Industries and Allegheny International and on the board of Maryland National Bank, Waverly Press, Londontown, Hittman Melnor Corporation, Junior Achievement, Boy Scouts of America, Kernan Hospital, Young Presidents Association

Dad also gave back to society by volunteering time energy and tons of money. He and my mom started their foundation and support the local community to the max,  As an example here are two projects they did
