Salzburg
I visited Salzburg as part of my ski trip to Kitzbuhel. While in Salzburg I visited the Cathedral, The Nonnbereg Abbey where Maria Von Trappe attended to become a nun before marrying Barron Von Trappe and I visited to Fortress Hohensalzburg a castle on top of the hill overlooking the town. Salzburg had incredible bike lanes more than a 100 miles of bike lanes that followed the river from Kitzbuhel and time to go back for a bike adventure. The Salzburg Cathedral is a 17th century Baroque Cathedral and I attended an organ concert and guitar performance which was wonderful and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was baptized here. The Nonnberg Abbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 712 by Saint Rupert and is the oldest continuously existing nunnery in the German speaking world. The Fortress Hohensalzburg is a large midlevel fortress and it is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe with museums inside. Also visiting the town was awesome with photos below starting with the Salzburg Cathedral below.
