Brevard is a city in Transylvania County, North Carolina, United States, with a population of 7,609 as of the 2010 Census. It is the county seat of Transylvania County. Brevard is located at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest has become a noted outdoor activities like world class fly fishing

It is world famous for its cultural centers and is a vibrant hub and world renowned for the arts and museums. One of the centers is located on this incredible lake

The downtown had some fine dinning and everything is walkable. It is also the crossroads to exceptional outdoor recreation, connecting to national and state forests. Home to the white squirrel, the downtown is host to several annual festivals and special events (including the White Squirrel Music Festival, Halloweenfest and the Old Time Music Competition). Catch the home town spirit and visit Brevard and the “Land of the Waterfalls”, Transylvania County During our recent trip there we went biking and hiking. WE were led by our guide Daniel
