Bulgaria
We were docked in Svistove and disembarked for some great visits to the country side
We visited the great fortress located in Belogradshick, Bulgaria. The fortress’s amazing construction, begun in Roman times and greatly extended by Bulgarian tsars and the Ottomans, and enjoy breathtaking views. The rock formations are below

We also visited Bulgaria’s former capital, Veliko Tarnovo. We visited Tsaravets Hill and the ruins of the royal castle and fortress below

At the Bulgarian port of Vidin and were also able to explore Vidin’s city center, Orthodox church of St. Pantaleimon below. It is one of the largest orthodox churches in the world
We also visited the ruins of the city’s once-grand synagogue and the Baba Vida fortress below. I was a grand old synagogue and I went in by myself to give thanks for all we have below

We also had a guided tour of the Nativity Church with its intricate floor-to-ceiling murals and icons.
We closed with with an awesome sunset off the bow of the ship below
