I just returned to Breckinridge (2020) to ski with Louise and Doug and it was awesome. Louise below cutting up the slopes 

Breckenridge should be skied along with “A”basin as well as Vail as they are close. I have skied them all and it is an “Epic” adventure.  Breckenridge Ski Resort is an alpine ski resort (Owned by Vail Resorts)  and the “Epic Pass” is available and can be used on multi mountains owned by Vail Resorts.  Breckenridge is  one of the most visited ski resorts in the western hemisphere so try to ski it mid week.

 

Breckenridge boasts 2,908 acres of Colorado’s finest terrain, including four terrain parks, two half-pipes and 187 trails spread across five huge peaks. They have snowmaking on 600 acres! five huge peaks spanning 2,908 acres, Breckenridge has something for all abilities and interests. Every beginner and intermediate trail is groomed nightly so you can enjoy endless turns throughout your day

One can ride North America’s highest chairlift, the Imperial Express below to the summit. Breckinridge’s lifts reach the highest elevation in North America reaching 12,840 feet and then one can climb up to about 13,000.  I climbed to about 12,900 feet as the very upper part was closed. 

From the summit of Imperial Express, one can ski the high alpine bowls and experience visions of ecstasy with unforgettable views and then one gets to ski the steep terrain below. 

 All of this with 3,400 vertical feet and topping out at 12,998 feet and what views below

At the end of the day we crashed back at the lovely condo and the we dined on great cuisine.  We had a great time and dined in some great restaurants like Aurum and their cuisine exceeded our expectations
